Holter-ECG

The Holter-ECG study is a continuous monitoring of the heart rhythm. The device is a small portable device that records ECGs for 24-48 hours.

It is used in cases of intermittent arrhythmia that is difficult to record on a single ECG or when additional information is needed for a diagnosed arrhythmia. Holter ECG also provides useful information about ischaemic changes.

It is recommended for people with palpitations, irregular heartbeats, fatigue, dizziness, vertigo, unexplained episodes of brief loss of consciousness, chest pain.
